Description

Light on the pallet, a balance of floral and tropical fruit flavors, with a refreshingly acidic and effervescent finish. Our innovative combination of modern & traditional to creates an elevated representation of West African Style Palm Wine. Expect an evolution of flavor and dryness with age. When enjoyed young (1-2 months) wines present a light bodied floral and fruity flavors with an initial semi-sweetness and light effervescence. On the tongue, bold notes of Guava and Udara (“African star apple”) with a lightly acidic finish. With age comes complexity and reduced sweetness, the flavors begin to meld into an ephemeral, fuller bodied experience.

One or two bottles of wines for your collection is virtually insufficient, as these wines are alive and develop dynamically- it may be difficult to know exactly when the perfect time to open a bottle or what your preference will be. By pre-ordering this exclusive 3 pack, you can follow the journey of the wine as it ages, try different food pairings, or share a bottle with others.

We are working hard to deliver mid 2024 – taxes and shipping fees due prior to delivery. When the wine is ready for shipment we will confirm all information including the delivery address. However you can always contact us to provide your new details especially if you change your email address and/or phone number. Prices Subject To Change Without Notice. Futures purchases are non-refundable 48 hrs after you place an order (feel free to reach out to us with any issues: info@ikengawines.com) – terms and conditions.

Just celebrated Fathers Day with my wife and daughter plus her boyfriend. A bottle of Ikenga “CELEBRATION” was paired in two ways – Dinner course: seared lightly maple syrup-coated steelhead fillet with asparagus spears as the side. Dessert course: cranberry biscotti dipped in the wine. Versatile and scrumptious!!!
