Terms and Conditions

By making a purchase on the Website, you agree to the Terms and Conditions of Sale, which are incorporated by reference into the Terms and Conditions of Use and will apply to all purchases made through the Website. A hard copy of these Terms and Conditions of Use is available to you by printing these Terms and Conditions of Use directly from the Website, by downloading the Terms and Conditions of Use from the Website to a disk and then printing them or by clicking on “Contact Us” on the Website and e-mailing us your request for a copy of the Terms and Conditions of Use.

Purchasing

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES MAY BE SOLD AND DELIVERED ONLY TO PERSONS WHO ARE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD AND BY PLACING YOUR ORDER, YOU REPRESENT AND WARRANT TO US THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD AND THAT THE PERSON TO WHOM DELIVERY WILL BE MADE IS AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD AND CAN ACCEPT DELIVERY OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.

Buyer in the USA certifies that he/she is at least 21 years of age. Buyer will have to certify age at time of delivery. The billing address needs to be the address on your credit card statement. Your shipping address can be different from your billing address.

Final Sales Tax and Shipping Fees

All tax and shipping fees are due before we ship your wine, we will reach out to you when it is time. This is done for legal and logistical reasons.

Shipping

When the wine is ready for shipment we will confirm all information including the shipping address. You can always contact us to provide your new details especially if you change your email address and/or phone number. 

We recommend shipping to an address where someone will be present to receive it during business hours. All shipping carriers require an adult signature at the time of delivery. Signature releases are not accepted. If the shipment is returned to us for an improper or incomplete address we will have to re-charge you for reshipment, so please make sure the address is complete including name, if any, and suite number or unit number. By submitting an order to Ikenga Wines LLC you are stating that you are 21 years old or older, and warrant that you are legally able to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages at your place of delivery. 

When your alcoholic beverages are delivered, the person receiving delivery will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old. If any person under 21 years of age fraudulently orders and has wine shipped to them, the wine will not be released to them, and will be returned to us, and the cost of return shipping will be charged to the responsible party.

We make no representation to the legal rights and ability to ship wines into any state outside of AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IA, KS, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, PUERTO RICO, SC, SD, TN, TX, VT, VA, WA, DC, WV, WI, WY or any country outside the USA. By placing an order for delivery in the USA, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you.

BY ORDERING YOU AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE SELLER FOR ANY RESULTING CONSEQUENCE OF A FRAUDULENT ORDER OR ANY MISREPRESENTATION AS TO THE AGE OR LEGAL ABILITY OF ANY INTENDED RECIPIENT TO RECEIVE SHIPMENT OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.

If you change your order after it is prepared for shipping, we reserve the right to charge for additional handling and packaging materials.

Parents or legal guardians will be held responsible for actions of their minor children. If necessary, legal action will be taken against any and all parties attempting “wire fraud.” The cost of shipping to, and returning to us of any wine in any such operation will be charged to that agency. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Timelines- Delivery Dates

Delivery dates (ETA’s) given at the time of your order are estimates only and provided as guidance, not a promise or guarantee of delivery time. We make every effort to produce wines within these estimates. We will NEVER automatically ship wines, purchased through futures, to you. When your wines is ready, we will send you an email at which time you can set up and pay for taxes, shipping, or arrange for customer pick-up. If you do not request a shipment or pick-up.

Projected arrival and delivery dates for “futures” are estimates and may vary by several months, depending upon the timing of the release from the estate and other factors. When the wines are ready for delivery, the customer will be contacted by Ikenga Wines LLC to confirm delivery arrangements and to advise of the sales tax and shipping charges, if any, which apply at that time. The customer will have 30 days from date of notification to pay any and all remaining charges and either take delivery of the merchandise or pick up the wines at the Ikenga Wines LLC premise. No “futures” merchandise shall be delivered or may be picked up until and unless all outstanding charges are paid in full. Ikenga Wines LLC does not store wines for customers at this time. If the customer fails to pay all remaining charges by 30 days from date of notification of availability, Ikenga Wines LLC reserves the right to cancel the order.

Refunds and Returns:

Wines purchased as Futures are non-refundable and purchases cannot be cancelled for a full refund. 

You must inform Ikenga Wines LLC within 48 hours in writing via e-mail if merchandise you have received is defective. Within five (5) days of receiving the order, you must bring the open, resealed bottle claimed to be defective to the Ikenga Wines LLC premise for inspection, together with the sales receipt or invoice. Defective merchandise will be exchanged for an equal amount of the same product, provided it is still available and in stock, or by another product of equal value. With the exception of defective merchandise subject to the terms described above, there are no refunds, returns or exchanges.

Errors, Omissions and Availability

Occasionally, our inventory, quantity available, listed prices, or bottle sizes may be incorrect- Ikenga Wines LLC shall be held harmless for the error. We make every effort to make sure that our product database is accurate, however mistakes do happen. In all cases, the customer will be contacted as soon as the problem is discovered. We will promptly return to the customer any monies collected upon discovery of the problem. A refund will be the limit of the remedy.
